About The Plan
Management People

We have a passion for excellence and compassion for people

Our Story

Growing up with a brother who has Down Syndrome meant that living with someone with different abilities was my “normal”.  It wasn’t until I was well into school age that I realised what I experienced at home was not the common experience.

My brother could be described as a cheeky larrikin who always manages to see the good in every situation.  I could go on for days about all the things I have learned from my big brother, but the biggest impact has been his ability to show me what unconditional love means.  To love someone without limit or qualification is something he does with abundance.

I noticed from an early age the gaps in accessing appropriate services and supports and the impact this had on my brother’s wellbeing and ability to live his best life.  What started with advocacy for my brother has now led to my passion to advocate for others living in our community with different abilities.  I see Plan Management as a way of supporting people to access necessary assistance to ensure that living with a disability does not mean living with barriers.

When Lee was asked about what he wanted in his profile write up, he wanted people to know he loves WWE, bulldogs (both the Rugby League team and the animal) and spending time with his friends.

Lee is currently the family champion at Chinese checkers (seriously, he can’t be beaten!) and boasts an impressive collection of jigsaw puzzles.

When he is not watching Rugby, he enjoys spending time swimming, art and craft, bowling, golf lessons and personal training with his team of wellness coaches.  All of whom he has roped into joining the yearly footy tipping competition.

Lee has self-appointed himself the office games supervisor and ensures all staff have appropriate break times including a game or two before getting back to work.
